Maundy Thursday
April 18, 2019 –
The word Maundy comes from a Latin word meaning mandate or commandment and refers to the mandate that Jesus gave his disciples on the last night He spent with them to love one another. Jesus demonstrated His love and His commitment to serving others by washing the disciples’ feet. While we won’t be doing any foot washing, this will be an interactive service held in our fellowship hall that will be centered around serving one another. Dinner will be served, and while there is no cost for this meal, we do need you to make a reservation so we’ll know how much food to prepare. Call the church office 681-4429 to make a reservation.
